Я так и не понял кто сделал этот сайт-страшилку и зачем. Информация там на мой взгляд однобокая во многом не достоверная, много передергиваний, но сунуть нос один раз любопытно. Хотя если допустить, что все именно так, как представлено, нужно думать скоро вся Канада иммигрирует в Африку. http://www.dsc-gc.com

Интересный сайт. Нашел там те же 8 причин не иммигрировать, но в несколько ином виде.

1. They do not need your professional skills; just your muscle and tax paying abilities. Generally there are enough qualified Canadians for just about any profession. There are also jobs nobody wants to do. By bringing 300,000 people a year from overseas, the governmnet makes sure that even the most unappealing job is covered and there is more than 1 person willing to do it. This also helps tremendously in keeping wages low even when inflation rates are high. The department of CIC does not care if they will have to bring 300,000 or 800,000 people a year to please the industry; they do not care how long these people stay in Canada. The important thing is to get the job done today, and then change the "whores in the brothel" tomorrow. The occupation factor is nothing more than a tool CIC came up with in an attempt to deceive potential immigrants.

2. Inadequate accommodation – Real estate prices reflect one of the greatest scams in Canada. Some of the oldest and most dilapidated houses cost over $150,000 here. The "houses" are in fact "sheds" by European standards as they are made exclusively out of wood and cannot be considered lasting establishments. By the time a 40 year mortgage is paid off, the real value of a house will be equal that of the land it is built on, less the cost to clean the place. With the small survival jobs left on the market, even the small shed is unaffordable.. All your hard earned money will be spent on rent and food.

3. High cost of living; Expect annual rent increases even in years of deflation; Car insurance premiums are a rip off (a driver with no Canadian driving experience may expect to pay over $250/month). Food prices are soaring and quality of much of the food is low. Medical and dental costs are impossible even if you are insured and have extended health coverage (more on this under medical). Child care costs are a killer - with two kids, one of the incomes in the family is wiped out completely. Car maintenance costs are astronomical and auto parts generally cost 3-5 times more than in the US even when the Canadian dollar is stronger than the US dollar.

4. High taxes; even if you are in a low income tax bracket and collect all your income taxes back, you are still paying GST/PST and prices inflated by monopolistic organizations.

You may be eligible for GST credits from the governmnet but this will still not offset the whole amount of GST tax paid during the year.

5. Inadequate health care. Not enough doctors, long wait times, overpriced medication – one out of 5 Canadians does not have a family doctor. Prescription drugs, doctor visits and dental services are so costly that without any extended health coverage you will be asked for thousands of dollars – money you are not likely to have. Recently extended health coverage premiums have also been on the rise and the list of eligible prescription drugs does not cover many regularly prescribed items. Go figure! For anything which is considered non-life threatening, you can expect to wait for ages to get to see a specialist. Often specialists do not help.

6. Culture. Since it is a capitalist system where the only incentive for any action is money; culture in North America suffers a lot as a result. The situation is further agravated by the devaluation of labor (too many people, too few jobs). Mr Harper recently cut off funding for arts saying that "the average Canadian does not care about art." He is, in fact right. The average Canadian is now only concerned with payments for food, gas and bills while desperately clinging to his/her job. Human ethics are also quite different; interpersonal relations have more or less all become business relations.

7. Weather. Long winters, strong winds, humidity in some provinces, heat and drought in the short summer. There are hardly any really good days but there is one good thing. In the stress the immigrants are in, they rarely notice what the weather is.

8. Environment. The Canadian politicians, managed like puppets by the big business, do not care about the environment and the sources of polution. Although there are regulating authorities, they have no say when the big decisions are made. For example the Ministry of Environment may be enforcing the fishing regulations on a particular lake, but they do not do anything when the next mining project wipes out this same lake from the map.

Generally the media prefers not to cover environmental problems, not to upset the general public. When they do write about a particular problem still nothing is being done.

Одно только порадовало- мой уровень английского.

Многое справедливо и точно. И очень сильно может ударить по мозгам населения 1/6 части суши, откуда я и сам родом. В отношении большинства из потенциальных иммигрантов и ньюкамеров 100% ПРАВДА. Особенно для сторонников кооперативно-колхозного устройства жизни. Эта страна для "твёрдых орешков"-индивидуалов. И действительно благоденствуют в Канаде возможно не более 10-20 % от общего числа иммигрантов. Но большинство из остальных 80% наверняка повышают в такой неприятной Канаде свой жизненный уровень по отношению с тем который был у них на Родине. Но оценить это могут в основном люди в возрасте 40+. А каждому новому поколению всё неуютнее и холоднее будет Канада.
А написано очень зло и явно иммигрантом.

По-моему, так полно ерунды понаписано, например про взнос в 25% при покупке квартиры. И в страшные фотографии стен в квартите за $800 с дырами в дверях тоже как-то не верится. Согласен, что цены монополисты контролируют и завышают, а вот с ужасами относительно продуктов не согласен.

Это не значит, что хорошо устроиться и жить невозможно. Это значит, что этого от нас не ждут. Мы просто пополняем население и генофонд для будущих поколений.

8. Discriminatory and Dishonest Immigration System.

Immigration to Canada is based on a point system, which considers the applicant's education, qualifications and job experience. Scoring high points supposedly means it would be fairly easy for the applicant to adapt to the new culture and find a job in his/her field. Once in Canada, immigrants find that the score they had was a joke and the profession they practice is either not in demand or unattainable with their foreign credentials. The reason for this discrepancy is, Canada only needs immigrants to fill in the labor jobs - pizza delivery, driving taxis, factory work etc. as well as to boast its economy by using the savings immigrants bring with them.

7. Out Of Control Cost Of Living.

From rent, to utility bills, shopping, phone, internet and cable bills, gas, car insurance, eating out, basically anything you have to pay for or buy, the cost of living in Canada has become astronomical. Recent immigrants are astonished as to how expensive everything is. It is estimated that compared to most countries around the world, the cost of living in Canada is on average five times greater.

6. Health Care Crisis.

Practicing physicians in Canada are hard to find, 1 in 4 Canadians cannot get a family doctor. Many Canadian doctors move to the United States. Statistics Canada and the Canadian Medical Association both have identified that for every 1 American doctor that moves to Canada, 19 (nineteen) Canadian doctors move to the United States! Doctors in Canada are overworked and underpaid, and there is a cap on their salaries.

5. Very High Taxes.

Yes, you have the GST, the PST, totaling 15%, on practically everything you purchase and many other taxes taken out of our weekly paycheck. You have to pay a whopping amount to the government, out of your hard earned salary, so that the government can turn around and give it to beer drinking, hockey watching welfare bums. Fair? It does not matter, it's Canada.

4. Money Hungry Government.

Canadian Embassies around the world lie to foreigners, painting a rosy picture of Canada, Why? Because foreigners bring money! After being deceived, these foreigners come and bring at least $10,000 with them. Canada has an immigration quota of 250,000 per year. So please do the math, 250,000 multiplied by $10,000 each equals a whopping 2.5 Billion dollars that Canada gains from immigrants every year. This figure does not include the business class immigrants that need to invest over $250,000 each.

3. No Culture.

Unlike almost every other country in the world, Canada has no culture. Actually American culture is what dominates in Canada. When was the last time you had some 'Canadian' food? There are no Canadian traditions and there is no national identity. What does it even mean to call yourself a 'Canadian'. . .nothing really. People living in Canada, still identify themselves with the country they 'originally' came from.

2. Worst Weather.

Yes, Canada has the worst weather conditions of any country in the world. Freezing cold temperatures, rain, snow, ice, hail, persistent winds, humidity or even scorching heat in the summer. From the West Coast to the Meritimes, the weather is so terrible that many Canadians leave Canada simply because of this reason alone.

1. No Good Jobs.

Yes, coast to coast, there are no jobs. Immigrants are highly qualified (MD's, PhD's, Lawyers, Engineers etc.) but they are driving taxi cabs, delivering pizza's or working in factories. Even people with bachelors degrees from Canadian Universities cannot find jobs after graduation. This is the tragedy associated with immigrating to Canada. I feel sorry for those immigrants who are stuck in Canada for the rest of their lives. It is indeed a very sad and hopeless future.

Все-таки главная задача иммиграционной политики - пополнение количества рабочих рук для экономики, чтобы было кому платить налоги и содержать канадских пенсионеров, ведь без иммигрантов количество рабочей силы в экономике будет сокращаться, а число пенсионеров расти - с этим столкнулись все развиты страны, особенно проблема обостряется с уходом на пенсию многочисленного поколения беби-бумеров. Тем не менее как показывает практика иммиграционная политика Канады оказалась гораздо более успешной - иммигранты в большинстве своём работают, а не сидят на пособии, как в Европе. Торонто несмотря на обильный приток иммигрантов со всего мира остался довольно безопасным городом.

Для меня эти сказки про бэби бумеров звучат также как план развития РФ до 2020 года, извините уж.
Да и не все уходят на пенсию в 65 лет. Некоторые так и батрачат пока смерть с косой не застанет прямо на месте работы
А тем временем реальный сектор и далее переносится в Китай.

А разве только в Канаде? И вообще, сколько там ежегодно в Канаду заезжает иммигрантов? Вот и считайте, какая нечестность и дискриминация, например, у Skilled Worker? То, что если у тебя разрешение, тебе не нужен список 29? По-моему очень даже правильно.

Астрономические цены? Я хоть и не в Канаде, но по-моему даже платить за жизнь в Канаде более менее реально с такими зарплатами, нежели в России жить на 15.000.

Столько врачей и не могут найти семейного? Физиотерапевта? Я думаю не 1 из 4, а хотя бы 1 из 10. Опять же повторю, что в Канаде не был, но зная здешний лад, где мне приходилось бывать, думаю в Канаде намного лучше.

Это вряд ли. Например, если мой доход $30.000 в год, то моя чистая зарплата на будет меньше 24.000, в Швеции же я отдам гораздо больше денег, приблизительно ещё $3.000-$4.000

А при чём тут голод? Вы же, приехав с $10.000 не отдаёте их первому встречному, Вы на эти довольно большие деньги питаетесь, снимаете хорошую квартиру.

И это в Канаде то? Где каждый второй пашет на 2-3 работах? Работа везде есть, если нравится тебе - хорошая. А если автор учился на медика, а работает дворником - это не сложность в Канаде, а не умение найти более рационального способа решения этой проблемы.

P.S. Все постоянно жалуются, приехал русский в Швецию: "Ой, какая плохая страна, тут дискриминация, гражданство надо ждать 5 лет, дорого", так чего ж ты, милый мой, сидишь в Швеции? Вернись в Россию? Что ты говоришь? В России хуже? Тогда сиди, закрыв рот, радуйся, что ты не там. Таких вот отмазок, что мол там плохо, нет работы, погода плохая, дорого. На широкую ногу всегда найдётся лёд, это я к тому, что наступишь и размах увеличится. Надо ехать и понимать, что никто тебя не ждёт и биться за хорошее место придётся на ровне со всеми, а не сидеть и просить у государства помощи и потом обижаться и делать вот такие вот сайты.

Подавляющее большинство знакомых и родных, которые не захотели поставить крест на своём образовании и карьере, переучились и добились своего. Крайне тяжело, но даже врачи и дантисты сумели переучиться и работать по своей прямой специальности. Это, кстати, касается и родных в Америке и в Израиле. Подрабатывали, но учились. Про инженеров и программистов и говорить нечего. Другое дело хватает на это не всех. У кого-то не хватает материальной стабильности, чтобы через это пройти, кто-то вполне доволен понижением в социальном статусе. И это абсолютно нормально. Но ВОЗМОЖНОСТЬ, однозначно, присутствует

Сегодня, скорее всего, есть пузырь в ценах, особенно в некоторых районах - Ванкувер, например. С другой стороны, когда все без исключения правитальства штампуют деньги и банковская ставка крайне низка, людям тяжело удержаться от покупки. Да и инфляция (фактическая, а не признаваемая), с отсутствием каких-либо стабильных источников вложения денег.
Человеку, написавшему про завышенные цены, было бы интересно глянуть на цены начала 90х, у недвижимости в Канаде далеко не всегда поступательное движение вверх. Но последнее время - верно. Монетарная "Стимуляция" приводит к пузырям. Нобелевскую премию автор опуса получит вряд ли

Дефляции за последние много лет в Канаде не помню, пару кварталов максимум. Годовой на моей памяти не было. Всё просто спрос диктует предложение, иммигранты едут и есть спрос. Конечно, обидно платить за товары на 20-25% больше, чем американцы, но командировки в Штаты спасают
Про качество еды - миф. Она есть очень разная. Многие иммигранты, по понятным обстоятельствам, далеко не всё могут себе позволить первое время. Отсюда рождаются страшилки про плохие продукты. А сравнивают люди то, что они могли себе позволить будучи средним классом и выше в прошлой жизни и иммигрантом с трапа самолёта. Абсолютная цена не имеет никакого значения. Фермер в Канаде получает больше фермера в России и стейк будет стоить дороже.

Очень высокие налоги, но это плата за социализм с северо-американским лицом. ПРо высокие налоги для бедных посмешило. Нижняя граница более чем разумна, принимая во внимание бесплатное образование, медицину и т.д. и т.п.

Отчасти верно - канадцы имеют то здравоохранение, за которое готовы платить. По работе езжу по госпиталям 3 континентов, пока идеала не увидел. В каждой избушке свои погремушки. Автор забыл упомянуть, что у подавляющего большинства медицинское покрытие есть. Проблема не в этом. А в том, что технически медицина сделать может больше, но слишком дорого. Поэтому будут страны отсекающие по денежному принципу (здорово утрируя, конечно, но примером может быть США), а будут КАнады, где все получают равное, но очередь и нехватка делает своё дело. Дайте мне другой глобус

Как и весь опус - бред. Можно было бы просто проигнорировать, но показательна вырванная из контекста фраза Харпера порядком мусоленная во время выборов. Он сказал не "the average Canadian does not care about art." , а ""the average Canadian does not care about art FUNDING". Пустячок, но смысл меняется.

Остапа несло. Говорить про климат Канады, всё равно, что мерять среднюю температуру по больнице. Это же подумать только, есть провинции где суровые зимы, а есть и такие где высокая влажность. Свистать всех на верх, на протяжении тысяч километров "кое-где у нас порой" (ц)

Как и всюду в северной америке есть левые, для которых экология начало всему и всему конец, и есть правые, старающиеся расплескать нефть на пеликана. И средне-статистический канадец посередине. Не сомневаюсь, что в эко законодательстве дыр масса, как и везде. Чего стоят заводы, которые компании не закрывают исключительно из-за того, что вычистить по закону крайне дорого. А так заводик grandfathered и всё по закону. Короче всем на юридический, адвокаты разные нужны и всякие важны

Критиковать можно все что угодно и сколько угодно долго, человеку вообще присуще быть недовольным, хотя по последним опросам в Канаде, чуть ли не 96% жителей счастливы и довольны жизнью.
Не знаю, что там за дыры в законодательстве про экологию в Канаде, но мне достаточно того, что вода не ядовитая в кранах и воздухом дышать можно, даже на оживленных улицах города.
К слову, у меня только в Канаде прошла аллергическая астма, которая была последних лет 6-7 в Украине и которую пульмонолог советовал лечить сменой места проживания, с загазованного и грязного Киева на другую страну.
И действительно, единственное что помогло. Гостили в Киеве, к концу второй недели уже думала покупать балончик, дышать невозможно. Так что все относительно.

Это не информация а дезинформация. От злости, не знаю точно на что, много есть причин по кот человек горечь испытывает и начинает ругаться. Я ваще думал сначала шутка. Но значения это никакго не имеет тк иммиграция в канаду практ закрыта вдумайтесь к нам въезжало по 250 тыс каждый год по фед программам только не счтиая остального а теперь 5 тыс на 2013 г и нет ни инвест ни ьизнес программы

Так что кто что думает про иммиграцию в канаду значения не имеет - нету практ такой возможности. Проще теепрь в Англию иммигрировтаь, хотя туда очень непросто. Жить можно, а полуичть право на работу а тем более гражданство - ...
